This does not change when I plug in my headphones. The 'mic in at front panel (black)' is not plugged in according to my laptop. I included two pictures of the sound settings. So far, nothing has helped and my headphones are still not detected. Obviously, I tried if different headphones were able to connect. I ran all Windows updates, but these did not fix the problem either. I tried to install an older version of RealTek drivers to see if this might work, but this also did not solve the problem. Also, the native audio manager did not detect my headphones either. I deleted RealTek drivers and reinstalled them, but it did not work. I wanted to update the drivers, but they were already updated fully.
I tried many things to get my headphones to be detected.
In between the time that the laptop was turned on, it was turned off and neatly placed onto a desk and has therefore not experienced damage of any sorts that could have caused the sudden change. The day before this happened, the headphones were still detected and worked as normal. This happened suddenly, from one day onto the other. And indeed, when I tried to play sound from my notebook, it came from my normal speakers and not through my headphones. Two days ago, I turned on my notebook and plugged in my headphones, but did not get the notification that headphones were plugged in.
